My four films, Dying moon, Climax, Uneven Image and Sailing Across Images will be screened at Zipangu Fest as apart of Spirit Made Flesh: Works from 3 Experimental Filmmakers.

Zipangu Fest (ジパング・フェスト) is the first UK-wide festival devoted to Japanese film, introducing works new and old, many previously unseen by mainstream UK film audiences, to demonstrate the many identities of Japan as depicted by some of the country's most exciting and revered talents.

Shimizu will bring a physical phenomenon to light visually which is invisible to the human eye by a laser beam. Oshiro will manipulate primitively sound wave with his self-made sympathetic instruments. This will be a miraculous Japanese premiere, a beautiful and poetic film about García-Lorca directed by Spanish maestro Pere Portabella. Akiyama and Nakamura who are the top musician of our time will play live sound track for Tamaki's latest film. The film will lead the audience's perception to ambiguous changes. Starting from an observation of phenomena, this event will expand your sense. After the performances, please enjoy resonance with comfortable music selected by modern-garde. Catering unit "chimuta" will serve delicious bread fermented by wild yeast.

One record on December will be screened as a part of "NIPPON RE-READ: RADICAL FRAGMENTS AND ABSTRACTIONS FROM JAPAN, PROGRAM 2" curated by Kinema Nippon. Kinema Nippon is a series of fund-raising screenings that present curated programs of experimental films, video art, and Japanese classics, held in several international cities in collaboration with local film and art institutions. plus-X (Makino Takashi＆Tamaki Shinkan) is an extended cinema project by Takashi Makino and Shinkan Tamaki. Having mastered video projection, 16mm film projector, and optical sensors, they are pursuing a type of film expression other than the screen.

Nacht en Dei will be screened at The 2012 Australian International Experimental Film Festival as a part of program "Texting the Image".

私の出演は12日、桜台poolにて。スクリーンにソーラーパネルを配置して、映像の光エネルギーをサウンドに変換するパフォーマンスをします。前回Loop-Lineで発表したバージョンに新たな素材を加えて、さらに強力な映像と音の空間を提示します。他の出演陣の先鋭的なパフォーマンスも見逃せません！！

I'm going to convert 16㎜ film into the sound by arranging the solar panel on the screen.

『エレクトロニクス』をキーワードに集まる音楽家、美術家等が、ハンダを0.008g以上溶かし制作した装置をパフォーマンス、展示に使用した一夜。エレクトロニクスに興味があっても、いまだに一歩が踏み出せない方は、必見です。（講師 鈴木學）

調布ショートフィルム・コンペティションにて「climax」(2008)が入選しました。
Ｂプログラム(15:45～17:15)の一番最後に上映されます。
climax has been selected by the 13th Chofu city Short Film Competition. My film will be screened at the end of program B (15:45-17:15).

One record on December has been invited to the 39th International Film Festival Rotterdam.

「12月の記憶」(2007)が、オランダのロッテルダム国際映画祭にて上映されます。

私はこれまで録音や音関連の制作を発表してきたが、実は密かに映像も収集している。映像では色彩に関する問題を追求したい。最近、欧州中世哲学の本を読んでいるが、そこには光についての考察がある。ややこしい文章を追っていくと色彩に関する思わぬ自分の盲点に気づいた。先日Analogicの坂本氏のパフォーマンスを見たが、それはとても納得できるものだった。色彩に関する発表にはまだ躊躇があるが、彼の協力でまずは当たって砕けてみようと思う。(角田 俊也)

プロジェクター２台を使い、色、光、形、配置、動きによるパフォーマンスを通じてフレームの内と外の関係性に焦点を当てます。(坂本 拓也)

私以外は、世界が今最も注目する作家たちです。今回は全てデジタル上映となります。フィルム上映とはまた違った一面が見えるでしょう。期待していいと思います。いや、間違いないです。作品の詳細は、牧野氏のブログで。

毎年夏、北海道のスキー場にて開催される野外イベント。私はひっそりと北の大地にフィルムの光を解き放ちます。

16mm映写機によるサイレントフィルムの投影。
第１回はギタリスト/牧野 琢磨の即興演奏を交え、映像と音の新たな関係を探ります。フィルムの投影のみ、フィルム＋サウンドのプログラムを予定。

牧野琢磨/makino takuma
ギタリスト。エレクトリック、アコースティック、バリトン・ギターを演奏する。2002年より音楽評論家・湯浅学率いる「湯浅湾」に参加、音楽活動を始める。同バンドはレ ッド・クレイオラやアンラ・コーティス来日公演の前座を務める。2004年より西岡由美子率いる「Americo」にも参加。2007 年より大友良英が主宰している吉祥寺のイベント スぺース"GRID605"の管理人も務める。2008年にレーベルGRID605より初のソロ・アルバム『In the suburbs』をリリース。同時期に元「パイカル」の吉田悠樹と共に自身のバ ンド 「New Residential Quarters（ニュー・レジデンシャル・クォーターズ)」を結成。略称は"NRQ"。 http://mkntkm.exblog.jp/
